Melco, the premier independent packaging distributor on the west coast of Florida has a long established history of serving the packaging supply needs of businesses throughout the Tampa Bay Area. Established in 1966 in St. Petersburg, Melco was purchased by the current owners Art and Jeanne Abbo in 1988. 1991 saw Melco's first move to Clearwater. In 1994 we built our first 40,000 square foot facility located at 3939 Airway Circle, which now houses our corrugated box plant. As business grew, we quickly outgrew our space and moved into 3 more buildings raising our square footage to 100,000 square feet. Filled to capacity with anything needed to help package customer's products, we became aware of the need to manufacture customer custom boxes and die cuts. Our first box rolled off the machinery on March 2, 2000. We are very proud to announce completion of our newest venture, a 60,000 square foot distribution center at 13200 40th St. N. in Clearwater. Airway Circle has become our manufacturing facility, allowing us to efficiently manufacture your corrugated needs.
